Injectables
Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, Xeomin and others)
These relax the muscles that cause lines, like frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet. They also improve skin quality, pore size, redness, and texture. Results show in a few days and last about 3 to 4 months. There is little to no downtime.
BOOK NOWHyaluronic Acid (HA) Fillers
Fillers restore structure, definition, and support in areas like the cheeks, chin, jawline, and temples. Results are instant and last about 6 to 18 months. HA fillers can be dissolved if needed. Some swelling or bruising for a few days is common.
BOOK NOWSculptra
Sculptra helps your skin rebuild its own collagen. It slowly restores lost volume and firmness for a natural look. It also improves skin quality. Most people need 2 to 3 sessions, about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Results build over several months and can last 2 years.
BOOK NOWLasers
Fraxel 1927
This laser treats sun damage, brown spots, and uneven skin tone. It also smooths texture. Expect about 5 to 7 days of redness, swelling, and dark, flaky skin as the spots lift off. Most people need 1 to 3 treatments.
BOOK NOWFraxel “Light”
This is a gentler, lower-energy Fraxel, similar to Clear + Brilliant. It brightens skin and helps with mild spots, pores, and texture. Expect 1 to 3 days of mild redness and rough skin. It works best as a series or for upkeep.
BOOK NOWVbeam
This laser treats redness. It helps rosacea, broken blood vessels, red spots, and pink or red scars. You may have mild redness or swelling for a few days. Sometimes there is purple bruising that fades in 1 to 2 weeks. Most people need a few sessions, about a month apart.
BOOK NOWMicroneedling + PDRN
Microneedling
Tiny needles make small channels that help your skin make new collagen. It improves acne scars, texture, pores, and fine lines. Expect 1 to 3 days of redness, like a mild sunburn. Most people do 3 sessions, about a month apart.
BOOK NOWPDRN Add-On (with microneedling and Fraxel)
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a serum applied during or right after treatment so that it absorbs through the microchannels created by these devices. It is made from purified DNA, most often from salmon. PDRN can help skin heal and look smoother and more hydrated. The formula we use combines essential vitamins, amino acids, and minerals, alongside medical-grade PDRN.
BOOK NOWChemical Peels
Superficial Peel
A light peel that gently removes the top layer of skin. It brightens dull skin; evens tone and helps with clogged pores and mild breakouts. Expect a few days of mild redness and light flaking. Most people do a series of 3 to 5 peels, a few weeks apart.
Medium-Depth Peel
A stronger peel that reaches deeper into the skin. In one treatment, it builds collagen, softens fine lines, and treats sun damage like brown spots and rough patches. Expect about 1 to 2 weeks of redness, swelling, and peeling. Mild pinkness can last a few weeks.
Medium-Depth Peel + Deep Segmental Peel (around the mouth or eyes)
This is our most intensive peel and one of the few things that works for etched-in lines around the mouth. We do a medium-depth peel on the whole face, plus a deeper peel in 1-2 focused areas: around the mouth and/or around the eyes. This targets deeper lines, like lip lines, crow's feet, and crepey skin under the eyes. Expect about 2 weeks of healing. Pinkness in the deeper area can last a few months but can be covered with tinted SPF or makeup. We plan this carefully at your consult.

Skin Cancer Surgery & Biopsy Care
Caring for the site every day helps it heal quickly and leaves the smallest scar. Here are the basics. Download your sheet for the full instructions.
After a Biopsy
Most biopsy sites heal in 1 to 2 weeks
- Keep the bandage on and dry until the next morning.
- Then once a day until healed: shower as normal, let warm, soapy water run over the spot and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor or petroleum jelly and cover with a new bandage.
- Skip antibiotic ointments. They can cause an itchy rash and don’t prevent infection any better.
- Results usually take 1 to 2 weeks. If you haven’t heard from us in 2 weeks, please call the office.
After Skin Cancer Surgery
Excisions closed with stitches
- Keep the pressure bandage on and dry for 24 hours. Rest, and keep the area raised if you can.
- Then once a day until your stitches are out: let soapy water run over the wound in the shower and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor or petroleum jelly, then cover with a non-stick pad (like Telfa) and paper tape.
- No heavy lifting (over 10 pounds), hard exercise, golf or yoga for 2 weeks. No swimming, baths or hot tubs until your stitches are out.
- If it bleeds, press firmly on the bandage for 20 minutes without lifting to check.

Frequently Asked Questions
What to know before your cosmetic consultation or treatment.
Booking & Cost
Do I need a consult before booking a cosmetic treatment?
Absolutely. This is essential. Before booking lasers, fillers, or other procedures, we start with a cosmetic consult to examine your skin, facial structure, and goals. Then we craft a comprehensive, personalized plan.
Is there a fee for the consult?
Yes. The cosmetic consult fee goes toward whatever procedure you choose to pursue.
Is there a charge for missing a visit?
Yes. Cosmetic procedures take more time and planning with expensive resources. Thus, we require a 48-hour cancellation notice.
Can I be treated the same day as my consult?
Sometimes. Neuromodulators (like Botox) can usually be done the same day. Vbeam (for cherry angiomas, rosacea, acne scarring, redness, and broken blood vessels) can sometimes be done the same day. Most other treatments need numbing and planning, so we book them for another visit.
Does insurance cover cosmetic treatments?
Unfortunately, no. Cosmetic treatments are not covered by insurance.
What to Expect
Does it hurt?
Most treatments cause only mild discomfort. We use numbing cream for lasers and microneedling. Most fillers have numbing medicine built in. Neuromodulator shots are quick pinches, and most people do fine without numbing.
Is there downtime?
It depends on the treatment. Neuromodulators have little to none. Fraxel 1927 can mean about 5 to 7 days of sunburn-like redness, bronzed skin, and flaking. Peels vary by intensity. We go over this at your consult so you can plan around work and events.
Planning Ahead
How do I get ready for my treatment?
- Avoid tanning and sunburn for 2 to 4 weeks before any laser or peel.
- Stop retinol and retinoid creams a few days before a laser, peel, or microneedling.
- Tell us if you get cold sores. You may need medicine to prevent a flare.
- To lower bruising, avoid ibuprofen, fish oil, and alcohol for a few days before and after injections. If a doctor prescribed aspirin or a blood thinner, keep taking it.
Can I be treated if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
We usually wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please tell us if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or nursing.
How far ahead should I book before a big event?
Book neuromodulators, fillers, and lasers at least 4 weeks before. Start Sculptra 4 to 6 months ahead, as it works gradually. For medium or deeper peels, plan further ahead. We'll map out the timing at your consult.
When is the best time of year for laser and deeper peels?
Fall and winter are ideal, since there is less sun. That said, these can be performed any time of year if you practice sun-safe precautions. Wear sunscreen every day before and after any laser.
What's the difference between neuromodulators, fillers, and Sculptra?
Neuromodulators (like Botox) relax muscles that cause lines and improve skin quality. Fillers add volume, definition, and support right away. Sculptra helps your skin make its own collagen over several months, with results that last up to two years. Many people do best with a mix, and we'll help you choose at your consult.
